Review: Becca Beach Tint!

I love multi-use products and the Becca Beach Tint is no exception. I received this little wonder in the colour Watermelon as part of my MBBE loot. It’s a nice slightly cool rosy pink that would be flattering on most skintones. The consistency is kind of a creamy gel, so you need to shake the tube a lot before you use it otherwise it separates. I also love the watermelon scent – absolutely delicious!

The creamy tint works nicely on both the lips and the cheeks! It does have an oily-ish base, but the pigment is rich and it dries to a semi-matte finish. I use this mostly as a tint on the lips, it’s lovely watermelon colour looks very natural on me, though I do recommend layering a gloss on top because it has kind of a waxy feeling to it if you leave as is. It’s also fab as a blush because it has a nice dewy flush that gives you that pretty fresh from the outdoors look.

Blended and unblended swatches

I love the versatility of the Becca Beach Tints and the staying power is great as well. A little of the product goes a long way, so be careful how much you apply or you could end up looking a little clown-like lol. Everything about this product from the name, to the colour, to the smell just screams SUMMER to me! Perfect for those lazy days at the beach.

Mwah! Added a clear gloss on top

Available online and at David Jones. RRP $42 AUD

What a gorgeous shade! Will have to keep my eyes open for this when out & about shopping – I think I’d like to try it out 🙂
I don’t think I’ve tried any Becca items either, but oddly do remember seeing the brand being introduced into Superdrug in the UK back in 2008 ! Wonder if it’s still selling over there…
I assumed it was a cheap Aussie brand when I first saw it for some reason (Superdrug is know for being the cheaper toiletries / products store over there, more lower end than Boots).

@Melbournite – Oooh interesting! I don’t think they market Becca enough here, so to bring it into overseas stores is kind of odd. Loving this though, so do try it out and let me know what you think 🙂

Great colour. I must admit I haven’t looked into Becca at all (totally under the radar) but this one has certainly caught my eye. I love multipurpose products as well:)

Ooh, the colour is so pretty! Have you tried the Benefit Posietint? What do you think is better in terms of staying power and colour? I want to give this a try! (mainly cos it smells like watermelon though, I’m a sucker for watermelon scented things)
