Stila Convertable Colour in Lillium!

I have previously talked about this Stila Convertable Colour in a haul video not long ago, but I think it deserves a post of it's very own. You all know how much I adore multipurpose products, and these convertable colours are definitely at the top of that list.

Took this pic with only a couple of uses in, it def doesn't look this smooth any more lol
Lillium is a gorgeous, creamy dusty pink and totally kicks butt as a blush and lip colour! As a blushthis gives me a nice, healthy flush and blends super easily. It gives my cheeks that perfect dewy glow without having to work too hard. Love!! On the lips, it can be a bit drying but apply a good lip balm underneath and it's amazing. A very pretty nudish pink - add a sparkley gloss on top and your ready to party!

Swatchie :)
A little goes a long way with this product, so I'm careful not to use too much otherwise it can look a bit cakey and clownish. I also adore the packaging. It's light, compact and comes with a mirror, so perfect for touch ups or doing your make up on the go.

Available at all Mecca Cosmetica stores for RRP A$48.

Estée Lauder Corporate Store Haul!

I was lucky enough to receive an Estée Lauder Companies Corporate store invitation from the gorgeous Daniella (check out her blog and/or Twitter asap!). I mention this in the video, but basically it's a store where they sell excess or discontinued stock from the various Estée Lauder companies. Everything is at least 40% off retail price! Sooo Awesome! I went to the store last Wednesday, wind and all, and had an absolute blast. Here's my haul :)

Please watch for the surprise at the end. I know this vid is quite long, I think I ramble on way too much. I always try to make shorter videos but it never seems to happen lol

Here's a few snaps of what's inside the Melbourne store.

Absolutely Gorgeous Pink Clay Exfoliating Mask!

Now being a total makeup junkie, I tend to slap on a good amount of make up on my face daily... be it when I'm out and about or if I'm just staying in to play with new make up goodies.

Thank goodness for facials! However, I must admit I get far less facials than I would like. Good news is, we have facial masks to brighten our skin (and days!) in between.

I received the Absolutely Gorgeous Pink Clay Exfoliating Mask from MBBE and have been using it once a week ever since. It's free of icky chemicals such as parabens and is Aussie made, so you got to love that.

It is a deep cleansing mask, which contains bamboo to gently exfoliate, Australian clay to draw out sebum and impurities, and lavender, geranium and lime to soothe and balance the skin.

Apart from the slight tingling I feel when I first put the mask on, it is pure bliss. Of course it dries on your face as it's clay, but it's not as harsh as some others I've tried. It doesn't make my skin feel at all tight or itchy. I love the little bits of bamboo which exfoliate your face as you wash off the mask. It leaves my skin feeling fresh, clean and looking soft and glowy. Love it!

Scroll down further at your own risk!! Don't say I didn't warn you....

Scary Jess - I contemplated not posting this pic, but you gotta have a mug shot right!

The mask is recommended for all skin types, particularly combination to oily skin, but not suitable for those with sensitive skin. Available online at Absolutely Gorgeous for A$34.95

Smashbox Eye Wish Palette!

My thoughts and swatches on the new Smashbox Eye Wish Palette :)

I completely forgot to mention how much I love the mascara that comes with the palette. It is the Smashbox Lash DNA mascara, and I love it so much that I will be purchasing a full sized tube of it asap!

My October Beauty Favourites!

Just me rambling on about beauty products I've been loving in October. Enjoy! xoxo

Smashbox Blush Rush in Radiance!

In the pan, Radiance is seriously the brightest hot pink blush I've seen but swipe it on your cheeks and it's all natural flush goodness. This blush is super pigmented, with a gorgeous matte shade that would suit any skin tone. It also does a great job of staying put, I still have rosy cheeks well into late afternoon! That's a total miracle for me, as usually all my blush is gone by lunch time.

I've really come to love matte blushes lately since I've been OBSESSED with highlighting products! Sometimes your blush just needs to be matte so you don't start to look like a crazy disco ball lol

Here's a mug shot of my fave cheek combo at the moment. Smashbox Radiance blush paired with NARS Albatross highlighter :D

I purchased this online at Kiss and Makeup for $26 USD, but it can also be purchased at Kit Cosmetics and Mecca Maxima stores for $34.95 AUD.

OPI Chapel of Love!

With it's beautiful formula and gorgeous colour, it is hard not to fall completely head over heels in love with this nail polish! Chapel of love is such a pretty bright coral pink with a subtle golden shimmer. Application was a breeze, it was a bit thin at 1st coat but you get lovely opaqueness after 2 coats. Lasting power is fab as well :) The colour would definitely suit most skin tones, and looks great on both fingers and toes. Perfect colour for fun in the summer sun!

2 coats, taken in outdoor natural light

I received this gem as part of my MBBE goodies, and it is available at most nail salons and David Jones. RRP $20 AUD
