NARS Eyeshadow Duo in Nouveau Monde!

Nouveau Monde is a yet another example of why I love NARS. Released with their Spring 2011 collection, it combines a pale lilac colour with a deep olive, that simply takes my breath away. I would have never thought to combine these two colours, but alas, they work perfectly together. Bravo Mr. François Nars and thank you for your make up genious!

Left side - Lilac shadow

A very pretty pale lilac colour. It's jam packed with micro glitter so it's a little more on the frosty side than your usual NARS shadow, but there is hardly any fall out whatsoever. It's a bit sheer at first swipe but easily buildable, and I think it compliments the depth and darkness of the olive green quite well. Can be used all over the lid or in the crease, as I did in my FOTD below.

Right side - Olive Green shadow

A shimmery, rich olive green colour. In one word... GORGEOUS!! It is so pigmented and smooth, which makes it very easy to work with. I think this shadow would look amazing on anyone especially those with brown and hazel eyes. Wear it on it's own on the lid, use it as a crease colour, or combine it with purples and blues for a sexy night time eye look. I don't have anything else like it in my collection and I adore it!
