Illamasqua's Fight for a Fair Beauty Price!

I totally embrace the fact that I’m a shopaholic. It’s even blatantly expressed in the name of this blog haha. Speaking of shopping though, if you’re a long time reader (or maybe even a new one) you may have noticed that I often buy my beauty products from overseas. Truth be told there’s really only one main reason for this – we get totally ripped off here in Australia when it comes to retail prices of cosmetics.

Now now before any of you start talking about how I should support the Australian economy, or that overheads are higher or whatnot. Honestly, I would love to buy more stuff locally but check this out… in the UK the price of an Illamasqua lipstick is $24 whereas we pay a whopping $40 here. That’s almost double the price! Pretty unfair if you ask me. 

Well I have some exciting news to share... Illamasqua has listened to its’ consumers and launched an awesome new campaign called “Fight for a Fair Beauty Price” and my response? “Hell yeah!”

Fight for a Fair Beauty Price is an online petition which calls for us beauty lovers to help fight for the unfairness of having to pay excessive Australian retail prices for cosmetics. Illamasqua will SLASH their Aussie prices if they can get 20,000 signatures, and they’re already half way at 10,000 in just 10 days! Woohoo!
