The Satin Lip Pencils are exactly what they sound like… they’re a lipstick in pencil form. I picked up 3 of a 13 colours available; Biscayne Park, Luxembourg and Palais Royal. These are seriously a must-try formula for all you make up lovers. They are smooth, soft and glide onto the lips like a dream. Pigmentation is good, with opaque coverage in a couple of light swipes. Lasting power is excellent too, I get a good few hours wear even through drinking and some nibbles. I also love the finish of these, satin with that hint of shine and they feel very lightweight on.

The only thing that bugs me about lip pencils is that when you sharpen them, you lose a little of the product. Though if you’re savvy you could probably figure out how to save it somehow but I’m too lazy haha. Now if NARS made this formula in lipstick bullet form, they’d have a real winner and I’d also be broker!
A soft, peachy nude. Some skintones may find that this washes them out, so always good to try in person if you can. It compliments a smokey eye perfectly and I’ve also been using it as an everyday colour, with Tom Ford’s Lip Shine in Frolic on top to add more life to the shade.
A vibrant watermelon red. It is a little on the cooler side, which I often find doesn’t sit quite well with my warmer complexion. Still wearable though and such a fun shade.
An amazing plum wine colour. I did find it a little patchy to apply but it’s workable. Perfect shade for the colder months, just pair it with winged eyeliner and you’re good to go.
